I really can't imagine any better soap dish for next to the bathroom sink or on the lip of the tub than this one;  just looking at this little lion inspires longing for a nice long soak! I know nothing of its maker, but think they did a pretty great job, with, I'd guess, a garlic press used to make the terrifically shaggy mane. The little arms resting on the edge of the tub and outstretched legs make this little lion appear to be wonderfully relaxed, and he leaves plenty of room for a big bar of soap. The four little pedestal legs upon which the tub rests are pretty great too, and really make for quite a functional as well as charming piece. Really great.

6 7/8" long x 4 1/4" wide x 3 1/2" tall and in great vintage condition; no cracks or chips that I can see. Unsigned.
