This rug, named after the renowned lamp, is a celebration of the creative genius of one of the greatest masters of 20th-century Italian design: Achille Castiglioni.

Taraxacum emerges from the intersection of design, history, and innovation. Its unique and captivating pattern faithfully reproduces the graphic concept of the iconic lamp designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1988. With its floral shape and mesmerising interplay of light, the lamp has inspired a textile creation that captures the very essence of the original work.

More than just a tribute to the lamp, this rug stands as an artwork in its own right, transforming any space into a visual and emotional experience. The exquisite balance between design, shape, and colour is masterfully brought to life by Illulian’s expert craftsmanship. Each piece is meticulously handmade using Himalayan wool and natural silk, employing ancient weaving techniques.
