This formula was designed to provide what you need to cover your bases, and none of what you don't. 

Multivitamins are popular, and with such extreme saturation in the marketplace, companies have tried to find as many ways as possible to differentiate their products.

This has led to an arms race of exceedingly high dosages of poorly bioavailable and/or inactive vitamins and minerals, as well as the inclusion of fluff/often counterproductive ingredients to make a product label look more comprehensive, innovative, and impressive.

This has ruined countless multivitamin formulas.

Using high dosages of poorly absorbed minerals can lead to a misguided perception of nutrient status. 

Furthermore, high dosages of low-quality vitamins may not only be problematic via lack of efficacy, but in some cases, it can even lead to a paradoxical vitamin deficiency.

For example, supplementing with the inactive form of vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) competitively inhibits the active form of vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5'-phosphate [P5P]) [R].

At high enough dosages, you can induce a vitamin deficiency through the supplementation of inactive vitamins, leaving you worse off than if you took nothing at all.

This is why we included a biologically active/methylated B vitamin complex in our formula. 

In addition, companies often include an array of ingredients that are not vitamins, minerals, or trace elements, with the claim that the inclusions lead to a more robust health and/or longevity enhancing supplement formula profile.

While many of the ingredients included often have merit in specific situations for certain people, these ingredients may not be benign, and should not simply be ignored as harmless for those who do not need them.

Even when considering those who may find benefit from their inclusion, their multivitamin shouldn't force them to take these ingredients every day without any flexibility.

When marketing a product as an ideal multivitamin, we don't think it's justifiable to also force the customer to take a cortisol suppressing Ashwagandha in perpetuity, an inflammation suppressing Curcumin, a neurotransmitter modulating blend of Nootropics, an adaptogenic mushroom cocktail, or any array of other ingredients that can be useful separately for certain people, but are not ideal to be included in what should otherwise be as universally compatible of a daily essentials formula as possible.

We intentionally, exclusively included a tight list of high-quality and bioavailable nutrients, at dosages found to be efficacious, and didn't put any unnecessary "extras" in. 

Covering every micronutrient through diet alone can be challenging, even for the most health-conscious individuals.
