Nori Green Floating Glaze 1439

World-Class Kiln Fired Finishes!

The name "Floating Glaze" was inspired by the idea we had while developing these colors that they should give the appearance of one-color floating on top of another color. Eleven of these colors are lead-free, non-toxic and food safe. The lone exception is 1439 that is above the non-toxic limit for copper. The ACMI suggests that art instructors never give children in sixth grade or younger a product with the CL Seal.

Spectrum Floating Glazes are glossy reactive type glazes that produce many surprising and beautiful effects. These are reactive mid-fire glazes that create glossy, multi-tone, multi-color decorative effects on pottery pieces. Compatible with many other Spectrum stoneware glazes, Spectrum Floating Glazes are recommended for firing at Cone 5/6.
