Indispensable for the portrait palette in building flesh tones, the Alizarin is pictured here with a tint mixed from traditional Flake White behind it at left, and with the more opaque, stronger, and cooler Titanium-Zinc White mixed in on the right. The gem like mass tone is seen directly behind the tube at top in the background and on our hand painted label on the tube.

Alizarin Crimson is milled with the finest alkali refined Linseed Oil in limited quantities for a naturally drying durable paint film.
