Effects of this medicine
・This medicine improves or prevents chest pain by widening blood vessels that supply the heart with oxygen and nutrition. This medicine also reduces systemic vascular resistance and strain on the heart.
・It is usually used to treat angina pectoris. However, it is not intended to immediately improve chest pain attacks or symptoms that have already started.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (20 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, twice a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to your age or symptoms. If its effect is insufficient, the dosage may be increased up to 2 tablets (40 mg) at a time, twice a day. ・However, if you have angina on exercise or angina at rest and on exercise and your condition is judged as serious in terms of the number of attacks and exercise tolerance, you may also take 2 tablets (40 mg) at a time, twice a day. Strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. You should never take two doses at one time.

・If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.
・If you have hypotension, cardiogenic shock, angle-closure glaucoma, head injury, cerebral bleeding or anemia.

・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Precautions while taking this medicine
・Pay attention when you get up suddenly, as it may cause dizziness on standing up or light headedness.
・This medicine may cause decreased attention/concentration/reflex movement because of headaches due to vasodilating effects. If any of these symptoms occur, avoid operating dangerous machinery, such as driving a car.
・Alcohol (drinking) may intensify the effect of this medicine. Avoid drinking during taking this medicine.
