Experience the rich tradition of West Indies rum and Danish whisky-making with our Stauning Rye Whisky - West Indies Rum Cask Finish. This exceptional whisky is crafted using locally sourced, 100% floor-malted rye and barley, refined in our grain-to-glass distillery featuring the best traditional production methods resulting in a rich and complex character.

Initially matured for 1,5 years in a American virgin white oak barrel, the whisky is further aged for 4,5 years in a first-fill West Indies rum cask, which impart distinct notes of tropical fruit, warm spices, citrus and toasted nuts. The West Indies, known for its diverse and high-quality rum production, brings a unique dimension to our rye whisky.

This dual maturation process infuses the spirit with subtle hints of vanilla, cinnamon, apricots and ripe banana, creating a whisky that is both spicy, fruity and smooth – and has a lovely tropical character.
