How to Use

1. Write the plant name on each stake with the included colored pencils (or a permanent marker for outdoor weather resistance). Use one color per plant category (e.g., blue for herbs, pink for vegetables, orange for flowers) for at-a-glance ID across the garden.
2. Push the pointed end into the soil next to each plant. The wide flat end faces up so the name is visible from above when walking the rows.
3. For seed-starting trays — use the stakes vertically in each cell to label varieties before transplanting. Move stakes outdoors with the plants after hardening off.
4. When the season ends — pull the stakes, wipe them clean, and store them in the tin until next season. Or compost them; they're unfinished wood.
