Tatra Type 8000H HolzgasTatra Type 8000H Holzgas TATRA Type 8000H Holzgas was an 8 ton truck made in Czechoslovakia, and used by the German armed forces in WWII. Due to a steel shortage, the cabs were made out of pressed wood. The Holzgas version used coal gas a low pressure method of producing fuel out of low quality charcoal, common due to oil shortages in Nazi Germany by the end of the war. These trucks used an engine similar to the SdKfz 234 series of armored cars.
