 The all-new GEN 2 Yamaha MT-09 or FZ-09 and SP models are a significant step up from the earlier GEN 1 model and needed a whole new design approach for the exhaust system to match this sharper and more nimble addition to the Yamaha range.  This time, we opted for a lighter overall weight, getting away from the earlier doughnut link pipe option and going with a leaner all-titanium muffler. That fantastic sound from Yamaha's triple engine is retained and enhanced even more so if the supplied silencer is removed.  This exhaust system offers no limitations to what a technician can arrive at when tuning for maximum Hp and torque due to no restriction to exhaust flow.

Due to its high visibility, this exhaust system makes a real statement. After just one ride, the titanium will colour up in rich blue and red hues and be a visual delight. It won't corrode or discolour and never needs polishing with age, unlike stainless steel, which requires consistent maintenance to keep its appearance.
