Think of this system as a manual power roller. It works similarly to a battery/electric power roller, except you pull the paint up yourself. The paint is pulled right out of the paint can by pulling the plunger on the SmartRoll Pro. Then you squeeze the SmartRoll Pro to push the paint up to the roller cover. It is an efficient little system.

The SmartRoll Pro roller saves you time and effort because it is faster than a traditional roller with less mess, and provides an even finish from beginning to end.

Q. How do I fill paint from a 5-gallon bucket?

A. There is a nozzle that comes with it that you attach to the end. You dip the tip in the paint and draw the handle back, filling the tube. Then, remove the nozzle and attach the roller assembly. Just follow the printed instructions... they're pretty clear. Hope this helps!

Q. Can I use this with oil-based enamel high gloss paints?

A. EZ™️ SmartRoll Pro Roller can be used with oil-based coatings enamel.

Q. Need to paint the entire interior of a big house by myself. Does this work is it shoddy?

A. It has worked great for me; I've done half of a 4200 sq ft house. Walls and ceilings.

Q. How far does this extend? Can't figure out if it is suitable for a 10' ceiling. Barely reaching it is not ideal.

A. The unit is 42-45" long. It would be OK for ceilings under 8 feet but not 10 feet without a ladder or other riser to stand on. No way to extend it longer.

Q. Can the paint can lid fit a smaller size can?

A. The standard can lid comes with Smart Flow Roller that will fit a regular one-gallon paint can.
