Made with 100% pure new wool tartan fabric, the Nisbet Modern is a bright red-based tartan with a bold green check.

First mentioned in the 12th century, the Nisbets appear to have taken their name from the old Barony of Nesbit, in Edrom Parish, in Berwickshire. They appear to have remained in the Border counties for several generations, but later some Nisbets were in other parts of Scotland.
