The Chanel Reissue Bag is a true French classic, re-released in 2005, having been initially designed by Coco Chanel herself in 1955. This is the bag from which the Classic Flap was born, and was indeed the first handbag to be carried by upper class woman on their shoulders. Condition: Great condition. The leather exterior has a deliberately aged appearance and is in great condition with light wear throughout, including light rubbing to the corners and edges. The shoulder strap is in great condition with light rubbing to the leather throughout. The hardware is in great condition with light surface wear including small areas of black tone loss to the front hardware and zip sliders. There is moderate wear to the leather case that the shoulder strap slides through, where it has lifted at one end (see photo). The interior is otherwise clean and in great condition with light wear, including some fraying at one end of the zip textile.
