This is a very good quality dark tan coloured leather case . It shows hardly any use.

Its fine stitching is very good and all the buckles and straps are in good order.
The lid closes with a buckle.

The case is lined in cream coloured doeskin or chamois and has an internal partition .

Inside there is a double hinged plated sandwich tin.
The tin is in very good condition, inside it is gilt washed and stamped with a trumpet and banner symbol and  "JD & S, 916M".
There is also a rectangular flask with a captured or bayonet cap which is also stamped with a trumpet and banner symbol and  "JD & S" .
