The BOSS FS-5L is a rugged latch-type footswitch designed for hands-free on/off control of compatible BOSS and Roland equipment. Built from durable metal construction, the FS-5L stays engaged after each press and releases on the next — making it ideal for toggling functions that need to remain active. An integrated LED indicates the current active status at a glance.

The FS-5L connects to compatible devices via a standard 1/4-inch mono cable, making it easy to integrate into any existing rig. Its latching behavior is purpose-built for applications where a momentary press-and-hold is impractical — such as activating a looper, switching amp channels, or engaging a rhythm track.

Compatible with a wide range of BOSS compact pedals, Roland guitar amps, rhythm machines, and multi-effects units. Its compact footprint and robust metal housing make it easy to mount on any pedalboard. Two AAA batteries power the LED indicator.
