The 2023 "En Cuillery" from Domaine Château de Laborde is a vibrant and expressive Pinot Noir from the limestone-rich slopes of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune. The vineyard lies just above the famed Côte d’Or, where cooler altitudes and excellent sun exposure give rise to wines of freshness, finesse, and aromatic precision.
Organically farmed and traditionally vinified with native yeasts and minimal intervention, this cuvée is aged partly in stainless steel and partly in older oak barrels to preserve fruit purity while adding texture and subtle depth. “En Cuillery” is a joyful, terroir-driven red with energy and elegance.
Aromas: Fresh raspberry, red currant, peony, and hints of wild herbs
Palate: Light to medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit, fine acidity, and soft tannins
Finish: Bright and clean with floral lift and a subtle mineral touch
Serve slightly chilled at 14–15 °C. Best from 2024 to 2028.
Pairs well with:
Charcuterie and pâtés
Herb-roasted chicken
Grilled vegetables and halloumi
Soft cheeses like Saint-Marcellin or Tomme
This is a superb example of the new generation of Hautes Côtes wines—authentic, vibrant, and accessible. “En Cuillery” delivers real Burgundy character with lift and clarity, ideal for by-the-glass service, casual bistro fare, or everyday enjoyment with elegance.
