Produced at 1600m by a cooperative of farmers in a mountainous, sunny and humid environment in central Africa, Rwanda Rukeri is from a less-traditional tea-growing region - but one that is nonetheless ideal for the cultivation of quality loose leaf teas!

This African black tea's strong, full-bodied liquor boasts notes of malt, tobacco, and sweet pepper typical of the assamica cultivars. Fine nuances of cooked raspberries, cocoa and spices add to its interesting palate. Certainly an everyday black tea that will never get old.
