However, if you're using the Cigarette Lighter Plug version, most factory-fitted cigarette lighter sockets in vehicles are already fused, typically rated between 10A-15A. In this case, no additional fuse is required as the vehicle’s built-in fuse will provide adequate protection.

For installations using the 50A Anderson Plug, an inline fuse should be installed as part of the wiring setup to ensure proper circuit protection.
