Hand tooled Leather Earrings

Tad Lucas was a game changer in the sport of rodeo.  She was a trick rider and also a lady bronc rider.  In her publicity photos she would wear elaborate cowgirl boots, but while trick riding she had functional red leather boots.  The Tad Teardrop Earring is just as functional and can be just as elaborate.  It embodies the spirit of Tad Lucas herself.

This beauty is hand tooled and hand painted. The sunflower is hand painted and depth is added by dying the back ground either deep brown or black. Turquoise beads are hand tooled as a border and hand painted multiple colors of turquoise to create a real look and feel. Antique is then tediously applied to bring out the depth and dimension of the hand tooling. She is then finished with beautiful copper hardware findings.  Wear these to add a bit of “cowgirl” to your style.  Spice up any outfit!
