The Ortovox Switchback 30S is a lightweight ski touring pack which has been inspired by Ortovox's popular Haute Route pack. The 30S has a shorter back length than the regular Switchback, suitable for users with a back length between 36 and 44cm. Ortovox's FULL CONTACT LIGHT BACK SYSTEM distributes the load optimally across the back ensuring good balance for technical descents. Equipped with a separate safety compartment for your avalanche protection kit, a front pocket specifically designed to take a map and with axe, pole, crampon and rope attachment points the Switchback 30S is well equipped to give easy access to your gear whilst touring.

Constructed with 420D Cordura it is abrasion resistant and well able to cope with the tough demands of hut to hut use whilst remaining lightweight. The main compartment is accessed through a large top loading zip or through the back giving easy access to items at the top of the pack and making it easy to find items when taking it off. There is also a side compartment for crampons, climbing skins and ski crampons.
