Deep ruby with a light violet hue.

Dark cherry & nougat, cinnamon & nutmeg.

Blood plum and cherry fruit with bramble and toasted fennel seed undertones. A gentle acid line focuses the palate and ties together the layers of savoury fruit and spice. The length and persistence of this wine is testament to the power and elegance that Northern Barossa can offer.

A full-bodied red wine that shows both freshness and length. The layered, savoury flavours of this wine pair nicely with char grilled meats and vegetables, smoked ribs or a savoury beef-based stew.  A mellow cheddar would also work well. This wine is drinking well now but could nicely age for four to eight years.
