Practical yet beautiful with a touch of modern sophistication, it's almost hard to believe that this ring is over 120 years old!

The star-setting (formerly known as a Gypsy setting) originated in the Victorian era. Upon inception, this style of ring was quite popular among gentlemen. However, it wasn't long before women began adorning themselves with this gender-neutral setting. 

Commonly referred to as the "lucky star" setting, many Victorians would gift this style of ring to friends, loved ones or their betrothed as a way to say, "you are the star of my life."

Made by  Arthur Walter Crosbee and Co, this stunning ring is fashioned in brilliant yellow 18k gold. It has a diamond centerpiece with rubies on either side -- one pink and one slightly more purple. 

Because of the sunk-mount setting, this piece would make a great everyday ring.

Clean gently with warm soap and water and a soft bristled brush. Lightly polish with a jewelry polishing cloth, if needed.
