The Essential Romper (based on our Linen Romper) is a great versatile wardrobe staple. It has functional patch pockets, adjustable shoulder straps and adjustable ankle tabs that allow great flexibility, both in fit and styling. The size range for this style is 2X-Small to 5X-Large.

This pattern is rated intermediate, but is suitable for patient beginners. Although there are quite a few steps, each step is quite manageable and within reach of a beginner - it just may take longer to complete. This style requires edgestitching, sewing darts, attaching patch pockets, assembling tabs and straps, sewing button holes and buttons, and topstitching the facing down.

This pattern has a total of 14 pattern pieces to be cut out and sewn, and also requires buttons and buttonholes. This style can be completed in approximately 5 hours, including cutting time.
