Rear exhaust work is easiest with the truck on ramps or a lift, but experienced DIYers have done it on jack stands. Give yourself clear workspace under the rear — you're removing the old system and sliding the new one into place.

Can I install this without new gaskets or clamps?

Test-fit everything first once it's loose. Reuse your factory bolts and gasket at the cat connection if they're in good shape, but keep fresh gaskets and clamps on hand — exhaust components can stick after years of heat cycles, and you may need replacements during removal.
