The Unearthed Textile ceramic Plaque is inspired by the linage of Womens craft - female expression through handmade textiles. Following a long line of creative women in my family - dressmakers, knitters, embrodierers, the magic of making something from nothing, never fails to lose its intrigue. Human ingenuity flamed by ability and ideas.  
This is  a one-of-a-kind piece of creative work that has been expertly framed in fine Australian Blackwood shadowbox framing.  Finished in a deep Eggplant glaze on terracotta clay, it is for those that love rustic, earthy tactile moments in their home.
