This organic vase textured has been fired at a high temperature and will keep its deep color.
I made this vase on the potter's wheel, then hand altered the shape and created this texture and sea motifs! After a few weeks of drying, it was handpainted, glazed, and fired again.
The materials used were: stoneware clay, oxides, and a lovely, glossy, lead-free transparent glaze. A really interesting piece of Portuguese pottery!
