Tasting Notes: Bénédictine has a distinctive aroma of spices and citrus with a touch of honey. It is rich, full and with an intense flavour, balanced with sweetness. Delivering a warming aftertaste with notes of a coffee liqueur it combines the flavours of mocha coffee, fudge and vanilla through a zesty saffron and gingerbread finish.

Features: Bénédictine is a truly extraordinary elixir, made from a secret recipe that is said to date back to 1510, originating with the benedictine monks of the Abbey of Fécamp, in Normandy, France. Produced using a unique blend of 27 herbs and spices, the crafting still takes place at Le Palais Bénédictine which also serves as a museum and art gallery. The careful and complex production process uses precious, original copper pot stills, large oak barrels for ageing, followed by blending the batches with honey and saffron, and ageing again.
